Great time in the great outdoors! We really liked the accommodations of River View. The location on the river is an easy haul-out after an epic, but tiring canoeing adventure. There are waterproofing solutions for your phone available in the campground store ,as well as sunscreen and dry clothes. The campgrounds are very nice, though overnight camping wasn’t on our itinerary . This is a top-of-the-List camp spot for future summer holidays.
This place was great! The lots were nice for camping and people really had a good time. When tubing down the rifle river you arrive at the campground for the exit off the river. Only 4 stars due to the fact that the bathrooms throughout the site were pretty dirty and stinky. Clean those more often and 5 stars will be up. Thanks.
First time here and can't wait to go back. Everyone was incredibly helpful. The Canoe Livery is run with great care and professionalism. We had many kids in our group of all ages and everyone had a fantastic time. I had an equipment issue on a holiday weekend that the staff was not only willing to help, but went out of their way to help resolve. For this I am grateful. Our camp sites easily provided room for large trailers and plenty of space for our tow vehicles.
Very disappointed, looking at the website looks like a great place. Not so much.!!! For one group site that they claim are large sites on the river are small. Also you are so packed in you can't even walk between your camper and the one in the next site. Not a place for children, unless you would take your kids to Wood Stock. Between the loud rap music that goes on till around 2:00 am (no they don't in force their own rules) the m 80's, and the smell of weed constantly. Our group will never stay there again. We are all planning on passing the word.
Water was a little cold but that was expected! Had a blast with the family tubing and exploring the woods. Came across I nice little baby raccoon on the way too! Good old fashioned outdoor fun for all ages.
